Update/ 10:19 AM Can see that this blog's doing a fine job collecting dust. I have 5 minutes of break while ploughing through my BM212 presentation slides so might as well do something about it. Life's been good to me. This new sem's not as scary as I initially thought it might have been. You know, making new friends all over again is...tiring. Thankfully, it wasn't so. This sem's suddenly felt being spontaneous all over again. Like going running at night after 6 months absence from longer distance running other than 2.4; going up jurong hill with seng and james to have a gay threesome recce session and later, going up the same hill to drink n chill with my new ab213 grpmates jinhui,shawn,aileen and yijun. So that's embracing impromptu. These few months have seen me going back to Muar more often to visit my dad. He's getting better but more stubborn since he was discharged from the hospital. He refuses to seek help from others and weird enough, eating ice-cream (at a rate of 1 tub a month and he's not an ice-cream fanatic), even as he's been diagnosed with diabetes. My old man's got attitude. I guess that runs in the family. Had a pretty weird dream before I woke up. Dreamt that I was playing soccer and as my opponent was about to dribble past me, I stuck out my right leg to tackle the ball. The next thing I knew, my right knee slammed onto the wall beside my bed. I squirmed for a while then decide to wake up to complete the darned presentation. Guess that is my body's natural way of waking me up - allowing me to crash back to reality...Ouch. |
