Notebook/ 8:54 PM Laptop's coming back afterall! After all the hooha about shopping for new laptop and breaking my (already very empty) bank account for a new notebook, it was indeed great news and I can only pray for HP to get it done asap with the orders, replacements and wadever repairs. I spent totally too much time fantasizing about the possibility of owning a new laptop. Toshiba? Fujitsu? Vaio? I was even tempted to get a Mac yesterday too! Thank goodness I've got an uncle who's so pro at bargaining and demanding things. I don't know whats up it's like the older generation are more proficient at getting these things done. For me, when the engineer told me my options cos my warranty expired, I already submitted to my fate. Then came my uncle who totally told them off...in the end, the total bill's like $200-300 now instead of the original $400+ quotation. Well, better than nothing... I totally missed having a bloody laptop around. There's totally SOOOO many things I can accomplish and needless to say, borrowing other people's notebooks, there's always this slight feeling of embarassment of imposing on others. On top of that, it's also quite inconvenient to save your files in other people's lappie. Once my HP notebook's back, it's camping @ RR for me! |
