Weekend break/ 2:20 AM Finally, I get to see my previous posts when I click on my blog. Went to show support for Altitude-2 (ryan, eugene n john) @ Suntec in an event named Impresario. I don't think it was all well done kind of performance. It was too informal to be held in that sort of venue, seriously a mismatch of environment man. Anyways, despite the complaints, I'll still hafta head down even if it's the istana since I'm showing support for my friends in the competition. Was quite disappointed to see that altitude didn't win. Even the pair we felt posed the closest fight to them didn't win either. Ha..Though altitude got 3rd, they can seek solace that we felt that the winning pair were acting like gays and the judges might be deaf, gays or racists. I called Altitude the People's Champion cos they won the most popular group (by voting via sms). Angela Chang was the special guest of the event. She can sing damn well lah! Though 2 of the event co-ordinators from NTU were slacking..err..I meant, sitting behind me, I swiftly took out my n80ie and took a pic + a short video before I was stopped by 1 of them that no photography's allowed. Oh well, I've already got what I wanted so no point playing punk with them. Afterall, it'll be a little good karma boost for myself for not being a devil though the chance clearly presented itself there n then =P... Also met some familiar faces that I used to know from rv or sa days. What caught me by surprise was that some of them actually knew me and called out to me. I was super embarassed as I seriously had trouble remembering who they were. Just a smile, say hi..den it's time to put my acting skills to the test =) But for the rest, it was nice meeting them again. Exchanged some short greetings and quick catching up. It's important to maintain lost contacts for the sake of my future business cum social circle. It's been an OK week for me I guess. I've finally got a job, meaning that I stopped playing the role of a couch potato, sitting infront of the monitors or tv all day long. Now, it's time to get serious all over again. Since I'm working, I've been keeping my finances under tighter control cos I know that it ain't easy to earn. But I also believe that I need to spend for now, in order for me to earn more in the future. It's been an eye-opening experience for me to work as a job consultant. I just gotta step us the gas and achieve higher targets for myself and for the team. =) |
