7 days left/ 11:02 PM

My clearance is 90% done. Hopefully i'll clear 99% of them by tomorrow if none of the 'VIP' falls sick or has what rubbish meeting/course to attend. It's been an eventful day afterall. After lunch with my shift mates, I decided to heed the calls for blood donation and head down to HSA along with Yong Xian. During the medical screening, I felt very appreciated when the doc said "welcome back!" My last donation was done back in July 2004 and I stopped donating during NS cos of the diet of malaria pills during BMT, as well as considering the frequent mosquito bites I had during unit life, my blood might be 'unclean'.

Donation for me was a breeze. I had plenty of blood to spare =D It wasn't my 1st time donating, so I knew the procedures well. I just felt weird why my other friends received calenda
rs during new year and birthday cards from the blood bank while I was left out -.-'' Maybe they don't welcome my blood cos it's AB+. They bandaged around our arm and I found it quite cool. Initially I thought how come so many people "injured" their arms.
Actually it's pretty eye-catching. Time to go donate guys!

It's pretty crazy going down to Kallang Stadium and getting seated before 5.30pm since 8pm's the official kick-off time. But True Fans Understand and experienced spectator like me will say better to be kiasu than sorry. It wasn't easy getting the tickets and I had to run to 3 different places just to get 10 tix. The rain didn't spoil the atmosphere, merely destroyed tonnes of posters that people used to dry their wet seats. I was determined to go down to catch this match between Singapore and Malaysia. It wasn't the the semis that concerned me. It was the intense rivalry between the 2 neighbours over the years in so many areas. 1 of 1 of the unfortunate ones to witness Singapore being thrashed 4-0 a few years back and this time, it was a grudge match. Soccer fans understand. It's like a local derby. It doesn't matter if we lose the competition, as long as we win our derby rivals. I believed Singapore would give it's 100% to prove a point and to repay the fans for their support.

My insistence on kiasuness paid off handsomely as I was rewarded with an exciting match with a dramatic finish. Singapore equalised after a goal down and deep down, I knew they could do it. James made comments like "wah lao, Singapore siao liao lah" when they were a goal down and playing like crap. I told him "Relax. Have faith!" and I believed what I said. Tides were turned and after 2 extra times, Singapore made it through penalties. Malaysia put up a great fight and in this match, the real winners were the spectators who witnessed such a nail biting game that was decided through the penalties. What a match it proved to be, watching it in a packed stadium with fellow supporters. Totally different from watching in front of the tele.

I had just witness Singapore leading Thailand 2-1 in the 1st leg of the competition. What a fracas it turned out to be in the end. The referee made an error in awarding the penalty but that's not the point. He did not control the game properly afterwards when the Thai players stomped off the pitch refusing to carry play in the 83rd min cos they think the ref's decision was wrong and harsh. Childish and unprofessional I must say. The ref ought to have send a few players off for such stupid acts. Though I pity the Thai team, c'mon, just get on with it. It's only a goal and they have like the 2nd leg in Thailand a few days later? Cool finish by Mustafic Fahrudin from the penalty spot reminded me of Shearer. Power + Precision = Unstoppable penalty. Once again, the Lions roared!

the tagboard must be in this format, otherwise will be deemed unusable and ugly, out of place. It must be in a width of maximum 230px; which cannot be any smaller as well.

It has to be a total height of 200px as well, otherwise it will stretch and become ugly. and you can look at the screenshot for reference of how it will look like when it's perfect.
