Ikea/ 5:17 PM

Spent 30min of my life just now surfing Ikea's online catalogue. My room's getting messier and my furnitures are in the process of being destroyed - a 'sacrifice' I have to undertake with young kids around.

I remember slightly more than a year back before I moved into hall, I browsed through the same online catalogue and thought of what can I buy to make my room in hall, as cosy as possible. In the end, it was cosy alright...to the extent that I was playing n sleeping most of the time when I ought to be studying. Feeling guilty that I've pretty much wasted my own $ (among all other bills that I'm responsible of), there was little hesitation that I moved out of hall right after the final soccer match of my IHG back in '07.

I am amazed by how people can design their living space that draws all the 'oooohs' and the 'aaaahs'. I envy people with those kind of talent. Their creativity in matching colours, furnitures and playing with the lightings goes beyond visual effect. It is a powerful concoction that creates a impactful, lasting and highly enjoyable / desirabe living experience.

I am intrigued by shows that showcases how to make good use of small spaces (my room is no castle), such as 摆家乐 on ch 8 and some other ang moh shows I watched before on ch 5. Yet, it can be equally frustrating as it is enjoyable, to be desiring for certain furnitures and imagining it in your mind when suddenly reality hits - the bank account simply cannot afford it. Sucks? Definitely...

No wonder they said on the Ikea survey that the top event that would brighten a Singaporean's day, is striking Toto / 4D. I am a typical Singaporean too you know.

the tagboard must be in this format, otherwise will be deemed unusable and ugly, out of place. It must be in a width of maximum 230px; which cannot be any smaller as well.

It has to be a total height of 200px as well, otherwise it will stretch and become ugly. and you can look at the screenshot for reference of how it will look like when it's perfect.
