Lots of update/ 2:31 PM

I suck, as a friend.

It is until now that I have realised that, I have been neglecting my friends around me and my social life was in fact, 2nd priority compared to anything else. There were upteenth times that I didn't make it for social gatherings due to work, club commitments etc. I have indeed taken the friendships for granted.

Just this morning, I was surfing facebook. It was only through there did I discover that Wilson, my friend since JC, has gone for overseas exchange somewhere in Europe. Missed dinner twice organised by him, first time was due to fever and the second, was due to club meeting. I believe he tired his best to accomodate as many friends within the same dinner schedule as possible but obviously, I didn't try hard enough on my part. So, what kind of friend am I?

I am a true believer of friendship - to be able to trust in another individual and to know that you're trusted as well. Friends offer more than just company. They are guiding lights to the right values in life, aunts-agony when you're feeling low, and supporting pillars when the going gets tough and when it seems too much for you to bear on your 2 shoulders. Having said that, it's so easy to forge a friendship but it takes fate and commitments from both sides to maintain one that will endure the test of time.

I am thankful for my friends in MarkeTHINK, people whom I can truly rely on for things to be done. With everyone working for a common goal, every additional presence counts. Especially so when we are a big bunch of dreamers who have big dreams for the club. It's not a matter of who contributed bigger or better than anyone else. With something as small as a screw missing, it can lead to the collapse of a monument. People like Rachel & Jieying have truly amazed me with their commitment to the club and I'm very impressed with their performance of the past few months. I'm also hoping to see something similar happen to the rest of my friends before we step down in a few months' time.

I remembered when Irene / Jie-en asked me during the interview why I wanted to join the club, I said I wanted to take it easy since it's much easier to manage a smaller club that's just been established. In truth, another part of me wanted to challenge myself to achieve the most for a new establishment, which in my opinion, will be the greatest acheivement of my life. There were many times in the past when I took on new roles to see what I could gain out of it...like stage-acting, representing teams for soccer, being a business manager, emcee-ing for various events etc. There are probably around 8 more months of school left for me and I don't think I will look back in regret this time. Student life has been awfully fulfiling in these 3 fast-paced years and that is definitely, to my delight.

I feel that I have acheieved what I've set out to acheive in the past 23 years leading the life as a student. It is only right to have a proper handover and groom the next batch of leaders to move the club forward. It is not my dream nor is it my legacy. It is the vision of many batches of student leaders no matter what portfolios they held for the club. We took over the foundation they have laid for us, and hopefully, the next batch will take over and continue the momentum of progress.

Having said that, it seems like new priorities have emerged in my life. And maybe, just maybe, I hope this can be the start of something better and more meaningful. We'll just have to see how things go from now..

the tagboard must be in this format, otherwise will be deemed unusable and ugly, out of place. It must be in a width of maximum 230px; which cannot be any smaller as well.

It has to be a total height of 200px as well, otherwise it will stretch and become ugly. and you can look at the screenshot for reference of how it will look like when it's perfect.
