Squash Day/ 1:00 AM How do you define a gambler? What do you consider as gambling? Some may say that as long as it involves money, that's gambling. Well, I beg to differ. Money is nothing more than a medium that's being exchanged between individuals. Having said that, yes I do appreciate that in some games, money is involved because that'll mean instant gratification (or dis-gratification if that matters). Risks exist in everything we do. When you eat something really nice but sinful, you risk your health, when you study too much, you risk getting your brains fried. But then again, no pain no gain. I know I'm a risk-taker and in fact, sometimes it's too much for my own good. Am I really up for it? Just for clarity sake, in case you've been hearing things about Poker or whatever..I'm not a gambler. I'm a player. I play to win. =D Squash wasn't too bad today. Managed to sweat it out quite a bit and seems like it'll be sooner than later that I will resume more squash @ john's and go on more running sessions. There's no way I'll be thrashed by the upcoming RT in October! |
