run for my life/ 10:59 PM What the hell. I'm sweating like crazy as I'm typing this entry. *looks at computer seat* ok crap. there's my sweat stain. mum's gonna nag if she sees it. Don't know what came into me. At 10pm, I just suddenly felt the urge to go for a short run. Perhaps it's the knock on effect after watching half the episodes of 1 litre of tears. I had plenty of thoughts in my mind. Too many. I don't know if this is a guy's thing cos there's some things we'll just bottle it within ourselves, never revealing them even to our closest friends or family. I admit I have an "idealist marvin" within me. So many thoughts, so many plans, but little action taken place over the years. Just about a year ago, I was able to run 14km without 100% effort, a feat considered amazing among many of my course mates. After which, I continued to play for an hour of soccer, with spare energy remaining to go for another short run of 10-20 minutes. After a year of slacking and gaining weight, these became the unthinkable. I have to start setting realistic targets and begin them step by step. I'm booking in tomorrow so I don't know if I'll have enough time to round up the events of this year. I wouldn't consider it a fruitful year but an eventful one for sure. I'll update them tomorrow if I'm lucky enough to book out. I'm freaking touched by the story of 1 litre of tears. A strong girl who's determined to live life to the fullest, without regrets. That's the life I'm setting out to achieve. |
