2007/ 9:43 PM

This is the 1st day of the new year. No elaborate celebrations for me this year as I sought to stay away from the crowd for the 1st time. Instead, went cycling with James who showed me the route to NTU. It's a rather unique way to usher in the new year, so different from past years. The serenity, peace and quiet. Only you and the insects. No crowd to push you and certainly no stinking bodies to tolerate. Riding along the slopes in NTU brings about another joy. The breeze blows into your face and all you can hear is the whizzing of the cool night breeze. Heavenly!

2006 passed but it's quite an eventful one. I've gained new acquaintances, reinforced friendships and learned quite a bit in terms of life lessons. Most of my time was spent in camp, in which we passed audit with a good result as compared to years before. No doubt it's the good training our lao jiao specs have put us through.

One of the most significant milestones in my life was passing my driving test on my 1st attempt on 5th May 2006. The sessions with my dad in malaysia has provided me a good headstart in learning to drive. That's why my instructor trusted me in passing the 1st time as the test date drew near. It's wonderful to attain the driver's license and it's real cool when I was able to ferry my family and friends around whenever I have access to the car.

Although there were many unhappy events that took place over the past 12 months in 2006, I make sure they do not come and bother me and I'm determined not to end 2006 in a sour note. Backstabbers, power hungry arseholes and all other freaking idiots - please get away from me from now on, thank you very much.

As ORD draws near, I need to settle down soon and draw up plans for my future. 2 years of NS is precious time wasted and I don't think I have more time to waste anymore. I'm contented at this very moment. I know I've known some very good friends and besides that, I've got my 2 wheels by my side. They are my trustworthy lot to cheer me up whenever I feel down.

Let's hope 2007 will see a better Marvin. =D

the tagboard must be in this format, otherwise will be deemed unusable and ugly, out of place. It must be in a width of maximum 230px; which cannot be any smaller as well.

It has to be a total height of 200px as well, otherwise it will stretch and become ugly. and you can look at the screenshot for reference of how it will look like when it's perfect.
