Hot day/ 10:12 PM Played CS with the guys on Friday. It's been ages since I've had so much fun infront of the com blasting away. I think the other team was a little overwhelmed by our skills and tactics. I was too cocky at some parts of the game that I went out alone, attempting to take the other team down. I was like 1 hour late cos I had a good talk with my dad. He comes back only once a month cos of work commitments and it's even rarer that I get engage him in a hearty conversation. I remembered not meeting him up to 6 months when I was in NS and my schedule just happened that I was on duty whenever he came back. Thankfully, it's now all over. After the talk, I know what I've gotta do... Soccer today was scorching. Just 15min kicking the ball around - and the actual court match hasn't even started - I'm sweating like hell already. I was playing topless then on and I realised I had a pretty good even tan after the session. By 10.40, that's like 1 hour + playing, many of us already started to feel the effects the heat had on our bodies. I was like looking forward to subbing out and seek shelter every now and then. I guess I can say that I had a pretty good game afterall. Scored 3 goals. The 1st one was scored on the right corner near post; for 2nd one I just stole the ball from non other than Detong - who still dribbles too much when he's the last man, then i converted it thankfully. The 3rd goal was a blast and I volleyed a back flick by felix just after the halfway line. Defensive wise, I didn't commit too big an error. Maybe the lack of attention and lack of passing to my team mates. Well, I'm trying to dribble more and boost my confidence and ball control. My last day with RE has more or less been confirmed. Just 4 weeks from now and I'm jobless again, not that I'm complaining. After that, it's preparations for uni for me and take a well-deserved break after working my ass off for the past few months. Haiz. I failed. Sadded. Time to move on again... |
