Friday!!/ 11:36 PM ONE life Sometimes, we get only ONE chance, ONE opportunity. When the ONE appears, you know that's it. Or rather, that's what we want to think it should be. The FEAR of FAILURE - That's what keeps me going. At times, it acts the exact opposite. It's what that's keeps me from going. How should I know? I didn't really try. I didn't even bother to attempt to try. It's like I like law and yet my friends ask me why I didn't try to apply for it. What for? I know I'd not succeed anyways. Or rather, that's what my mind's been telling me. It's rather encouraging and motivating to see some of my friends going all out for it to pursue their dreams. Envy I may be, it's not the success that I'm envious of..it's rather the determination and drive to keep going despite all odds. Had a fun time just now with my bro and da sao coming for dinner. Talked about the good ol' times when we were young and all the stories came spilling out. I've finally realised why was I such an irritating young brother in the past. I was like the 'prince' of the family too. Haha..that's for being the youngest and smart enough to play around with the right people. For example: Never ask mum to buy another toy gun (after my personal collection of 10+ of them) when it's not her pay day unless I want 2 tight slaps when I reach home; Asking ah ma to make milo for me cos she uses 50% hot water while mum will make it with 100% hot water. Yeah yeah...it's kind of funny when I'm ridiculed by my bro for not having a gf...like he was any better at my age -_-'' Courage...opportunity...I am still too humji lah... |
