It was Good Friday yesterday. Arranged a soccer game in case something cropped up during the weekend and people couldn't make it for the match. Thankfully, those who were working could make it as it was a public holiday. I brought along my 2 cousins for yesterday's game cos it would be a Good exposure for them and besides, can make use of the chance to tutor them @ my place. The only letdown of the day was the injury I suffered to my 4th toe on my left foot. I was in a pretty Bad shape and felt the pain all of the sudden. The worse thing is that I didn't recall how the hell I got it. I endured the pain and played a little while more. Wrong move..Think my injury just got from Bad to worse...Saw my toe turned purple when I got home. A Bad start to the long weekend...

I'm fine if it's just a sprain. I couldn't help but think of the worst case scenario. Nowadays, I've just got to take better care of myself especially since I'm out of NS and it's no longer free to visit the docs @ the polyclinic. This incident also screwed up the plans I had for the long weekend. I'm still limping around at home, much to my Ah Ma's delight cos this means I can spend more time at home with her rather than she guessing where I might be going next...

Had a chance to explore my work place last Thursday as my mentor Hayley and team leader Jacqueline rushed back to work after their meal though we had another 20minutes left. And who's the 'Workaholic' now.. Went to explore the some levels and offices with Sharman and I had a great time discovering what my office building has to offer. I went on to ask the customer service officers what their office was about and what roles do they play. It's good to know more cos it would be pretty sad if people asked me about my workplace and I couldn't offer anything to them. Too bad I didn't take the initiative to take some photos otherwise...

Went back to Muar last week for Qing Ming. Unlike 2 years ago, I didn't have any opportunity to drive this time round. My bro and I attempted to explore the place that offered soccer on tv. Too bad he was too hum (with me as the pillion rider) riding my cousin's motorbike. My stupidity ruled the day again when I burnt my thumb while trying to place the joss sticks into the urn at the cemetery. I didn't see there was a candle below my thumb and I was taking my time, allowing my thumb to be slowly roasted. Haha..I still look forward in going back cos of the food and the serenity the place has to offer. Fresh air, peaceful kampong life, a totally different environment from the busy bustling city life in Singapore...simply enchanting.

Life's pretty busy now. I know it'll just get worse when Uni comes and the competition sets in, as well as the time after I graduate and prepare myself in the working world. Reality and responsibilty comes knocking on your door. Just great...

Wouldn't it be nice just taking a slower pace and enjoy what life has to offer? Exploring the nice things around us before they disappear forever. I guess the most pathetic situation would be these things disappear and we're oblivious and ignorant that they even existed before.
