street training for field soccer/ 9:22 PM " 工欲善其事，比先利其器 " Do you know what does that mean? I hope tmr's training won't be the only training session. Otherwise, I think this is a big joke and getting thrashed is definitely on the cards. I would love to enjoy a good game of soccer. I don't know who's the sports mgr but I'll definitely want to meet him/her tomorrow right after my interview. Who in the world trains for field soccer on a street soccer court? It's as good as asking golfers to train on concrete ground and swimmers to train in the reservoirs or the sea. The place you train is just as important, get it? When I first saw the sms, I was shocked to see the venue for tomorrow's training. It is no doubt a very last minute training session and I will never make it in time considering my interview's at Novena at the same time. It is a scary yet pretty exciting thought of playing with fellow soccer enthusiasts whom I've never met before. This also got me thinking about their skills, knowledge and techniques of field soccer. Simple things like throw-ins and proper kicking techniques on the grass needs to be practiced on the pitch. I do want to have fun playing soccer but I don't want the team to be remembered as a joke. |
