Confident tak-Confident/ 3:29 PM Thank goodness I gave up the idea of organising a last minute poker session last night. It will do little justice to Mike as he's been there trying to organise a decent soccer session every Sunday. It was great to resume play today as it's been raining cats and dogs for the past 2 Sundays. Scored some really cool goals but I'll need to work on my stamina. In 2 months, I'll make sure they have to work hard to keep up with me in the game! haha Left 30minutes earlier today cos I had an appointment with JH and Boon to study in NTU. It's crazy but it's always good to start abit earlier to make sure some form of momentum is in place. Last minute cramping of work kills. It was nice talking to Rach yesterday about some things going around. So now she knows how guys function in terms of how we deal with complicated matters (ps: don't bother finding out why. we simply function that way by nature). And congrats, that's makes her the 2nd person who caused both my cordless phones to go flat in 2 days. Maybe I should consider getting another phone (a corded one this time) to be on my study desk. There are times when the image of confidence is actually amplified and intentionally used as a facade to cover the not-so-confident areas in life. |
