3 days to X'mas/ 4:06 PM Ok, i've finished watching bleach episodes 29-60.Started watching it since yesterday after coming back from bbdc. I guess sometimes it's best to heed ur body's warning signs. I'm not like the main character in Bleach, Ichigo, who has utmost determination n willpower to do all sorts of stuff. To be exact, I was rather tired, especially after mounting 8 duties in 2 days, rushing for driving stuff and coming home to watch anime aren't exactly the most relaxing things my body can rough it out. By around 11pm, I was dozing off infront of my com (with the anime still on of cos). I forced myself to stay awake cos I wanted to finish all the episodes I downloaded before I book in on Friday. By 12.30am, I was drinking water to keep myself awake but, before I knew it, my eyes were shut, mind drifted to dreamland and I started to drool the water I drank barely 10 seconds ago. No way am I gonna push my body to such limits ever again. Guess what? I'll be mounting on Xmas eve, New Yr's eve, New Yr, Chinese New Yr's eve and Chinese New Yr. Isn't that great? It seriously does "boost" my liking for the organisation and vocation I'm serving. Well, can't be helped. I'm duty-bound and I guess I'll be the one having to sacrifice my freedom to protect the nation while the rest of you enjoy the festive season at home. Since I can't escape from mounting, I just pray that they will be kind enough to compensate us more off-days sia. At least better than mounting for nothing rite? Even though I seriously wouldn't trade in anything to enjoy reunion dinner and be there physically at home on the 1st day of CNY. Haizzz...My consolation would be I'll ORD in 2007 and need not mount on CNY 07'. |
