dead.broke/ 9:32 PM Yesterday was quite a busy day. I was doing the 1st slot and more or less prepared to genna 'eaten' cos the take-over shift tends to be late most of the time. I had driving theory & practical sessions scheduled at 1pm. By right, I would have more than enough time to get to Bt Batok Driving Ctr, however, situations proved otherwised. First, we had Cat I (cat 1 = showers with lightning warning) in the morning which certainly didn't help my situation. Traffic was slow (means the takeover should b slow), and the takeovers were freaking late (as expected). Didn't know what's their problem of getting here on time cos my shift usually takes over early unless held back for sai gang. Shan't complain too much cos I don't know if they indeed have some reasons to be held back. It could have been slightly better if PC daniel didn't hold the entire shift back for some 'suggestions' session. We had to submit 2 suggestions to him and apparently we'll earn $5 for each suggestion accepted by the upper management. PC Big Bull even had to filter through the stack of suggestions and ask some of us to think of something else if there were repeats/crap ideas e.g. close down fds, i hate fds, sack/kill so-and-so...hey, what's wrong with that? I don't blame people for proposing such stuff when exposed to this place with an array of crap pple. Nevertheless, managed to reach home, quick shower and off I went to BBDC, arrived there abt 2min late. After 2 practice sessions & completing all 11 available booklets electronically, I sort of aced the evaluation & hence able to book the final theory on 21st Dec. While applying for PDL (Provisional Driving License), I also met Alex (frm sa chi society) who happened to be there to register at the centre. After delaying for almost a year, I finally resumed driving lessons & had my 1st practical session today. The instructor was quite good, talked a lot of cock with me to keep me engaged & interested. Hope to complete all these money-draining sessions by feb next year. As for now, I'm pretty broke cos I keep pumping $ into my driving account. Haha, anyone with cash to spare? |
