The Eve of New Year's Eve/ 10:59 PM I wouldn't say this year has been an eventful year. 2005 is nearing its end, yet, I can't wait for 2007 to arrive! Like most (if not all) NS guys, I'm counting down to my ORD date, the day where all guys will rejoice getting out of service and resuming a normal, peaceful life as a civilian. Reflecting on this year, I guess the fortune tellers were rather right in predicting that my life would be sort of in the slumps till I'm 25-30. Getting into Orion Company during BMT was a blessing cos I met many great guys there. BMT was enjoyable minus the times I reported sick cos of fever of cos. Damn...made me look like I was chao-genging when the fact was that I didn't recover fully initially. Failing SBJ resulted in me getting denied a place in command school but nevertheless, the SAF seems to want me to be near SISPEC, TEKONG and thus I ended up in Changi Air Base, which is 10min run away from the S'pore Ferry Terminal, serving as a RP. It really sucks to be typing this entry along with the thought that I'd be spending my New Yr's Eve counting down in camp. Maybe some bapoks (aka trans) will come provide us some entertainment at the stroke of midnight tomorrow. This year's countdown is definitely saddening but next year's will surely be much much better cos it'll be weeks before I ORD by then. =) By 2006, I should be able to get my driver's license. Hopefully, I'll strike TOTO top prize and get a car ^_^. Hey, no harm hoping right? Maybe by 2007, when I get into uni, I'll get a gal. No point getting 1 next year cos I seriously believe that it's gonna be damn hard to juggle NS and being in a relationship, considering the time and monetary factors. Oh, why the hell am I talking about gal stuff here. Talking too much about this just gonna make me miserable, so ya...that's about it. Happy New Year everyone!
