Shagged out/ 10:07 PM

Memories from FDC came back to haunt us today. During those times, we dreaded when we knew Sgt Chris was the duty spec cos it meant a tough start to the day with him conducting the morning PT. I agree that he's a fitness freak cos looking at his well-defined muscles and fitness, there was little doubt he was The Man to be in-charge for our fitness. Alternate leg thrusts, leg raisers, rotational pumpings came in a punch that would prove to be a total knockout for newbies to his training regime. During those times, the entire PT session would probably last nearly 2 hours, starting from 0530, ending around 0715 for breakfast. During the 1st 30min of warm up, most would have their singlets soaked, panting and muscles starting to soar. No wonder most people chose to report sick when he was the duty spec. Life improved much when he was sent to Combat Engineer for a course. Well, our fortune was short-lived.

I must admit that after experiencing his training, we were fitter and many a times pushed to our physical limits. Many would agree that FDS stood for Food Drink Slack or Fat Development Squadron etc. Regardless of the explanation of the abrevation 'FDS', the message was simple: we were to slack our lives like hell during mounting. I found it to be rather ironic initally cos I didn't thought that our lives would be slacking especially with having duties to mount. After 6 months & slowly progressing in our standing as 'lao jiaos', there's truth in the saying afterall. Who can resist the temptation of Changi V especially to those mounting at Northern, when C.V. is literally right infront of your face? Given a choice to choose between a variety of affordable, delicious, tasty, sinful hawker food against 1 that's free but it's been pre-determined by the SFI bosses. It's not like SFI food's inedible but we are just being unappreciative cos of the freedom of heading to C.V. or even dial for fast food delivery. To top it off, Mai and I suggested having a S.S.C or SFI Survival Course for short for people who are able to survive a yr of SFI meals alone! (Damn...it's a scary thought...)

Our standbys now sucked cos all standbys are arranged in a way that we'd have IPPT training for booking out by non other than Sgt Choo aka 'fitness freak'. Besides his usual tough training, it certainly didn't help when some of us had IPPT on friday, ran back to base to play soccer for a couple of hours on saturday, less than enough rest before getting whacked in his training...and as I'm typing this entry, my arms and fingers are a lil' trembling -_-". However, despite the tough day I've faced, I actually agreed to accompany Pengkiat to run around our neighbourhood to train for his upcoming IPPT. Even though it was only a 16min run, it was enough for me to sweat it out and to compensate the training earlier in the day, which focussed mainly on our upper torso. I could hardly do any more chin ups, log liftings etc, at the fitness corner after our run anymore. Well, it can't be helped since I've nearly expanded most of my energy in the past 3 days.

The good news is that I've cleared my 2nd window's IPPT! Well, my results dropped like mad, no thanks to changi v & months of slacking, however, it was still good enough for me to attain a pass. I wonder if this would mean my promotion may come soon...hmmmz...Anyway, I'm not satisfied with the results & I'll most probably retake my IPPT in the next 2-3 months to get a silver at least. Wish me luck.

the tagboard must be in this format, otherwise will be deemed unusable and ugly, out of place. It must be in a width of maximum 230px; which cannot be any smaller as well.

It has to be a total height of 200px as well, otherwise it will stretch and become ugly. and you can look at the screenshot for reference of how it will look like when it's perfect.
