Botak boy/ 5:29 PM I don't know what came into me. I just had the sudden urge to do something drastic, hence I headed to the barber's & told the uncle some of my simple requests, which I hope I'll not live to regret (too much) in the weeks to come. Off my hair went in a few simple snips & before long, I could feel the air con blowing onto my scalp. "Uh oh...too short! wah lau...too late...." was precisely what I had in mind at that point in time. Currently my hair's damn short but I'm actually quite comfortable with it already. I guess I won't be as 'vainpot' as Boonkian to go for a 2nd hair cut in 2 wks' time cos 1) I'm fine (really!) with how I look with my hair and 2) my hair wouldn't grow that much for me to go for a cut. I can almost imagine everytime Boonkian goes for his (fortnightly) haircuts, the barbers/salon aunties/ec house ah sohs will be like 招财猫, no wonder business for them are so good nowadays $_$. Perhaps if I'm really desperate, I'll shave everything & prepare to experience 'monkhood'. Well, can't be helped cos I'm quite depressed lately and it really sucks to be alone at times. Haiz... As RPs,there's simply too much time on our hands. I actually found my sec 3's social studies note book (err, only 5 pages worth of notes though), and I decided to bring it to camp to start a personal journal. I guess if there's time and opportunity, I'll probably update the blog with the entries I've written with paper and pen. After yesterday's training session with Sgt Chris and PK Ong (my buddy since pri 1), I guess I'm quite motivated to start on a rigourous training regime to get my fitness back on track. Reading wenlong's blog reaffirms my decision and makes me more determined! |
