a 2-2 finally/ 5:17 PM

It's great to be at home when it's a 2-2. I've not been enjoying much 2-2 of late, all thanks to the heightened alert back in May, when we were all spending 3 days in camp and 1 day out. We all got a scare when they suddenly announced we had a heightened alert (again) on Friday, the day before I dismount. The news that the heightened alert was cancelled came soon after, much to the relief of all of us. *phew*

I've finally decided to resume some form or physical activity to get my body back in shape. I've got only 8months left before I collect my pink IC and I really want to make good use of my time in NS - to get in shape that is. Went on a 30min run-jog session yesterday around Toh Guan area and maybe I've really weakened quite a bit, else my run was rather fast-paced. Did a chop chop workout at the fitness corner downstairs with Peng Kiat and we went back to my house to catch the England match and fix some gaming problems. Perhaps I've exerted too much, too sudden...my face went white 10min after I got home. I felt really cold and almost fainted while I forced my way to the showers. Thankfully with a cup of hot milo and some rest, the worrying symptoms went away, much to my ah-ma's delight.

England won 6-0. I'm rather pissed actually cos I was supposed to wake up at 6pm yesterday to go to SgPools to place bet on AOS and England -1.5 but I woke up only at 7pm when SgPools have closed. there goes my potential winnings of at least $100+++

Thanks to Keith who dropped by late last night to help me with my com. Quite surprised that he managed to sneak out using his dad's car in the middle of the night to make a delivery to my place. Gonna give him a treat one of these days man...

It's been quite a pleasant day for me today actually. Had the usual sunday soccer session with the gang at my soccer court. Despite some ugly scenes by a group of ignorant and foolish youngsters, it turned out to be quite fun as I enjoyed myself thoroughly for today's match. Perhaps it's because I've not played with them for a couple of months, thus making me enjoy their companion more. I guess what James said was true. Without these soccer sessions, maybe we wouldn't been as close cos there's rarely common activities we all take part in. It's been 6 years since we're all together in the same sec 1/2 class but yet, we've passed the test of time to prove that our friendship remains strong. As time passes, our group becomes bigger with the inclusion of other members like John and Eugene etc who were not from our class. I'm really grateful that I've got to know these bunch of guys and the 'monthly' soccer session allows me to destress and do some catching up with the guys.

After getting my license, I realised that my life out of camp has been rather, how should I put it...bland? It feels so empty right now. Now I finally understand why Keith decided to pursue part time diploma courses after he got his license. Actually, NSFs have quite a bit of time on their hands and it's how we make good use of the time that really counts. I don't really believe the complains that we as NSFs 'do not have enough time'. I don't know...maybe I myself am too ambitious. I'm also tempted to get a part time diploma but I've yet to give it a serious thought over it and I'm afraid that it might be just a rash decision. I might also need to discuss with my bro and parents regarding this matter since I'm in need to find a sponsor if I were to further my education. At the moment, I'm already considering taking up Archery & Scuba Diving, probably around December-January period when my Xin Jiaos have arrived and when I'm clearing my leave.

Hmmm...am I being a little over ambitious here? perhaps only time will tell...

the tagboard must be in this format, otherwise will be deemed unusable and ugly, out of place. It must be in a width of maximum 230px; which cannot be any smaller as well.

It has to be a total height of 200px as well, otherwise it will stretch and become ugly. and you can look at the screenshot for reference of how it will look like when it's perfect.
