Back To Reality/ 11:16 PM Ok, I guilty as charged. Unfilial U may call me. I didn't go back to M'sia for QingMing as I'd previously mentioned. I guess the selfish me took over, seeking a much awaited break from RP duties and mundane army life. In exchange for 2 days of leave, I enjoyed like 5 days worth of break (friday evening till tues), which is a fairly good deal! Today marks the end of my slacking cos I had to book in for standby, where we cleaned our rifles and did IPPT training by non other than Sgt Choo. As usual, we wasted tonnes of time waiting, rotting, stoning,sleeping when we could've did all the training and probably book out by 1 or 2pm. But no...they had to torture us all. I should've been recharged fully after so many days of break but somehow, I feel myself getting weaker. I did some gym with Igs and Long before heading for Choo's IPPT. It wasn't THAT xiong afterall but somehow or rather, my muscles are now aching and I fell asleep infront of my com when I reached home. To make it worse, during our warm up run, 1 of our lao jiaos skipped happily like a little boy and he was actually moving faster than us! Wth...I could barely chase after him while trying to contain my laughter. I guess this is what they call the 'laojiao power'. He did the unthinkable and beat us all (well, not all but in fact, most of us). Impressive. I'm certain that tomorrow's mount will be like shit cos I've heard news of some people who ain't coming. After so long of enjoying, tomorrow will be like a reality check, or rather, a smack in my face with a possible 4-3 or 4-4 coming right up. What makes it even worse is that we heard Paya Lebar are not sending reinforcements over. Who are taking over our lao jiaos who're disrupting? Who are taking over the GOH personnels who are pulling out? Omg...we're in for a rough time for sure. I shall endure a definite hard time till September-October period where my takeover will officially arrive with the passing out of the 11th (eh...or is it 12th?) Changi FDC batch. By that time, the GOH pple will come back, our manpower will be overflowing. That's a damn good day that I will look forward to. There's news that our top management gonna change. Hmmz, I hope there'll be another OC like my current 1. He ain't tat bad afterall after knowing him for a few months. In exactly 1 mth's time I'll be taking my TP test. I hope I'll pass on my 1st attempt. Enough of the rattling already. I'm pretty sleepy as you can see based on how I typed my entry. So full of rubbish. Grr... |
